You can put a writer on vacation, but you can’t keep her from writing!
I realize that my creating, my writing is such a part of the fabric of who I am that even on a ‘blog’ vacation, I’m still blogging, I’m still writing, I’m still creating. I’m just not doing it ‘here.’ ![]()
A few days ago, I felt the nudge to journal…as in with good ol’ pen and paper again. I noticed it. I even acknowledged it. I just didn’t do it.
Then, Miss Debbie and I went out for our birthdays and lo and behold, the REMINDER.
She gave me SEVEN journals (thanks Miss Debbie) of varying sizes and formats. Some with lines, some without lines, some with all-natural, recycled paper, some with colored inks.
Ah, yes, time to put pen to paper.
She remembered one of my most idiosyncratic of specifications for my journals. They MUST be able to be opened and stay flat without force. Ever try to journal in one of those silly books that want to keep clapping shut? It is so irritating to me!
I found some beautiful bound journals that were tied with string at the binding that would stay open to the page, and fell in love with them. Miss Debbie found a regular perfect-bind journal made by Poppin that does the same thing – divine!
All is right in the world of vacationing and journaling today!
So, a couple of months ago, PJ Spur asked me if I would like to teach another workshop, which of course I said, “Yes!” I went home and asked what I should teach and the answer came so quickly, I wrote it all down.
PJ told me the date. May 21. Okay, great, May 21!
But somewhere along the line I put it in my mind for May 18! And, ever since then I have been saying May 18, May 18, May 18! I even blogged and said it was May 18!
The workshop is NEXT Saturday, one week from now, on May 21! My goodness, what is up with me and the dates??? LOL This is SO FUNNY. I am cracking up right now!
There are only FOUR spots available. Last time I spoke for PJ, the class was over-filled, and if everyone would have come that ALSO made a reservation, we would have had to move it to a much bigger conference room, so if you want to come, make your RESERVATION so we know how many people to accommodate!
That will help us with the class design and ensuring the environment is comfortable for everyone.
Writing from Creative Power: Connecting to Your Bigger Story
Are you one of the millions of people who have been feeling the effects of soul activation? If so, this workshop could help you if you’ve been feeling:
· Like the parts of you are trying to go in different directions all at once
· You have felt like you can’t go back to who you used to be, but aren’t sure where you are headed
· You feel adrift with less energy to ‘do’ things in the world
· You feel something coming, but aren’t sure what it is
· You wish you could just talk to someone who understands what you’ve been through
This experiential workshop will help you identify the parts of you and why they are pulling you in different directions. It will also help you to begin to integrate these parts into a ‘bigger story’ – your soul’s story, which is connected to your divine purpose.
The power of writing down your experiences will help with integration. If you’ve felt scattered, adrift and looking for a spark, this is the workshop for you!
Story is one of the oldest art forms in our world, and yet most people only access the smallest part of their life story. In this experiential workshop, Tina Ferguson will guide you to connect to your highest potential to reveal your ‘bigger story’ – the one that your soul wants to share with the world. Because this work is geared toward working with the part of you that already knows everything, no writing experience is required.
You will discover:
· A connection to your highest Self
· The storyline of your ‘big’ story
· The current storylines that shape your life
· How to access your infinite nature to write easily
· How to bypass the small part of your human nature
· Renewed connection with your divine purpose
Class meets from 1 PM to 4 PM
Class fee $30

Wow, last night’s Queen of Dreams show found us having a juicy conversation with Henriette Anne Klauser, author of Write It Down, Make It Happen, Put Your Heart on Paper, With Pen in Hand: The Healing Powers of Writing and Writing on Both Sides of the Brain (now in its 39th printing!)
She shared solid gold as she advised us to let our pens guide us, and also told us exactly what to do when the critic comes to ‘share.’ This is a podcast I intend to listen to again!
One of many highlights of the call was to remember that no one is above the critic…those who are more accomplished just learn what works for them when the critic comes a calling. Even SARK shared in our conversation a couple of weeks ago that she asked a police officer to come arrest her inner critics after a particularly grueling experience where the inner critics shared way too much!
Thanks to all of you who came to be with us live. Your energy is a gift!
Looking for a Dream Life:
When I meet an author I love, I am always amazed when others don’t know who that person is. Sonia Choquette is one of my most beloved mentors and I am always stunned when people have not heard of her (because of course every SHOULD know her, you know – lol) though I remember when I first met her, I had not heard of her either! Funny how that works.
Henriette Anne Klauser is one of my all-time favorite authors, and I love her books so much I’m amazed when people have not heard of her – especially in spiritual circles. Her books are a beautiful mix of process, step-by-step, and lots of heart and stories.
When SARK was on the show last week, I announced that Henriette would be with us, and SARK said, “Oh! I love her!”
I agree!
Join us to find out why we love her so much!
