A few weeks ago, I taught a workshop where a wonderful woman shared her story about how she ‘decided’ to move across the country to a city where she knows no one, has no contacts and builds a business from scratch.
I listened in awe and just a wee bit of a jolt in my tummy at the thought of actually doing it myself.
Then, a few weeks later, Debbie sent me an email about our mutual friend, Maria Smith, who had taken a similar journey…transplanting from Dallas to Boise.
If you are dreaming of making the move, this is THE article to read for a systematic way to determine your very best ‘new home’…enjoy!

Recently, for some reason, I’ve been talking to a LOT of people who have been going to Hawaii. I went there when I was a little girl, and am eager to return. I went out and started perusing some sites, looking for some package deals and landed on the YMT Vacations blog.
After flipping through all the amazing locales on the blog, it took me a few minutes to realize that YMT Vacations caters exclusively to seniors (and I’m not talking about the high school kind). So, while I won’t be booking any travel myself, I thought it was so cool that there is a company that really knows how to help our loved ones have a great time.
It looks like YMT Vacations can help take them anywhere in the world they want to go!
Oh, and I got some GREAT ideas for myself while I was at it!
