Wow, everyone, last night we had a GREAT time at the Summer Luau… thanks Ellen and Marvia for being there for the team. I thought at one point I was going to be a party of 1, maybe 2 if Mark had joined me! LOL Had some other guests with great questions, and it was all I thought it would be and more. I had been feeling for a long time that a more interactive format would be fun, and this felt great and was so much fun!

We gave away some six books, we answered some questions, we did some mini-reads, all in all a very relaxing and fun evening.

We’ve been having a self-love soiree around the site for about a week now. We are continuing the love tomorrow night with Michaiel Bovenes.

As I write, this, I Survived…Beyond and Back plays in the background. This show is about near-death experiences and what people have experienced as they have gone ‘beyond and back.’

It makes me think about life in general. How losing life gives it back to you in a way. I read the other day that only death provides perfect freedom.

I have always been fascinated why some of us are spared when we meet death at its door. I nearly died as a baby. I had many other chances to die due to my own stupidity during my recklessness and lack of loving myself. Mark has nearly died twice. Chance has had two near-death experiences, too.

When I hear these stories, I feel a comfort deep in my soul that tells me life is precious regardless of what it may look like. That life has an order, regardless of how chaotic it may appear or feel.

Life is good. Life is worth living. Love is part of a life lived well.

Hey everyone. For those of you who aren’t on my list, here’s a quick note to let you know about some big changes taking place here. First, my site is undergoing a huge renovation. This will bring some goodies, including book giveaways, video log (vlog) entries and some new features that reflect my desire to share more content in a different format.

As I shift and move, I’ll be moving away from doing one-to-one work. I will be taking appointments through October for those who want a personal session with me. After that, I will not be doing them anymore unless spirit brings me to someone’s path. I am always committed to supporting you in knowing that YOU have the divine connection and YOU can trust yourself as the TRUE YOU.

My path is taking me toward more books (including our soon to be released, I’ve Got to Get a Job NOW!) and special pet projects, including my first children’s novel. As I have encouraged people for years to follow their dreams, I am doing the same with mine.

I wandered over to Violette’s blog the other day, and lo and behold she had the sweetest review on her site for my book, Must Be Present to Win. Plus, she took the cutest photo. Am I the only one who wonders how people get these shots??? Must ask her about that!

While I was there, I checked out her latest video (totally addicted to these!!!) about making a mixed media bookmark. You should go see it – worth a cup of tea and six minutes or so.

Aaaaanyway, so I emailed her to thank her for the review and we ended up talking about a contest she is going to do for her blog readers. She is going to be giving away one of my books over there. Exciting!

That made me think about what I could do over here. And I thought what about giving away a book a month? I have tons of books here from guests that have been on my show and would LOVE to give a book away to those who would enjoy reading it.

Violette’s Creative Juice is already working its magic, inspiring contests for lucky web readers! And, if you didn’t hear me gush on and on about her book, Journal Bliss on my show, then you MUST get her book! Yes, you’ve heard me saying I’m going to get with the 21st century and embrace social media. True, I do know a lot about it. I understand how it works. Heck, I even get the benefits.

What I don’t have yet is a way to interface with it without being taken over by the energy. So, for all of you who have sent me messages, sent me tweet-ups, sent me invites, and all of that, I PROMISE, it isn’t for nothing…I just am a big behind the action – for now. If I haven’t answered you – it isn’t personal – it’s me!

When the kiddies go back to school (in general, not mine as he is homeschooled), I’m going to get back to basics social media style. This is just a shout out for all of you techies who are ahead of me! Thank you for sending a smoke signal!

I do have to say that I’m SHOCKED that I’ve been blogging and doing my radio for THREE YEARS! Where has the time gone? Social media… here I come! Look for a fan page soon… oh yes!

Dreamers united today for the first day of Dream Camp. Ever since Velma, a.k.a. The Queen of Joy, and I dreamed up this little soul get together, I’ve been getting all kinds of inspirations for the campers. I knew that we would be going high, high, high up into the ethers, but I had no idea how HIGH we were going to go! It’s actually, not high, like up in the sky, it’s more out…into other dimensions – the creation plane, to be more specific. Call it The Field, Zero Point, Unified Creation, whatever you want… we had so much fun today!

We connected to our dreamers and the surprise was that each one was not at all what each person thought it would be. Now that was fun! More like magical, inspirational…transformational!

You can still join us…come with us as we still have five more weeks of dream camp.

This week, it was back to basics…next week, it’s all about finger painting. Yes, you can do this too. Dream camp is for the child inside that already knows how to dream… it’s more of a reacquainting with the dreamer and an undoing of all the things that keeps you from believing anything is possible. Dream camp is where you can too comes to life!

What would you dream if you knew it was impossible to fail? Or…only possible to create? That’s what we’ll be experiencing in Dream Camp! Join us…

Hi all… wow, what an amazing evening under the stars tonight as we all played with our intuition on Queen of Dreams radio! Beautiful messages came through, and I have so much love in my heart for the messengers tonight who were with us! Thank you!

We will DEFINITELY have to do this again – what a fun, fun time (and I’m not just saying that because I got such WONDERFUL feedback)!

Many of you may not know that I had this secret life where I lived, loved and worked with accountants for nearly 20 years. I literally attracted accountants and financial people like they were going out of style – everywhere I went. I could walk into the room of 343 people and end up at an ENTIRE table of these beautiful souls.

Why? Not sure… maybe it is my analytical mind…perhaps it is my practical sensibility, no matter what the reason, I spent 15 years of my life boiling down complex financial ideas into practical, sensible ideas in writing that “my mom could understand.” I enjoyed the writing, too, though. I enjoyed learning about taxes, finances, money, budgeting, etc. And, along the way I used this information combined with my own experiences to help share with others what I learned about money management.

Enter… North Texas Kids, a local magazine dedicated to providing parents and children of the area with a guide to all of the resources available to them in the area. They strive to give their readership thoughtful, useful, and activity-based information in an easy-to-read format, and to provide it for free. North Texas Kids dedicates a part of every publication to supporting the county’s non-profit organizations and events, either through article space, advertisements, or event listings. Finally, their mission is to be financially, environmentally, spiritually, and socially responsible towards their associates, their readers,  and the community.

My greatest joy is to serve others in any way I can, so I’ve signed on to be the newest columnist at North Texas Kids. My column is Savin’ Dollars and Spendin’ Sense. Each month I’ll write about how to adopt a financially free and fit money mindset. I also will share resources and tips on the North Texas Kids website. Send me your ideas, your questions and I’ll answer them in an upcoming column!

Is it just me or is Twitter taking the world by storm? I mean, seriously, the local anchorman has a Twitter channel, so does the sno cone lady down the street, and, yes, so do I – QueenofDreams – if you want to know what I’m doing (at least every few days!)

Why the other day I flipped on the tv and Entertainment Tonight had this big ensemble about how ET Tweets and so do all of these other stars.

What the heck is Twitter anyway you may ask (apparently you have been waaaaaay out of town for a while now)!

Twitter is a form of micro-blogging. That means that you have a seriously short space to get a quick thought out. In short, to let people know what you are doing RIGHT NOW.

No philosophizing, no long meandering rambles, no long blog entries – just short and sweet.

And that’s why I like to TWEET. It’s fun, it’s easy, and there’s absolutely no pressure.

Plus, it’s a great way to ‘keep up’ with people and feel like you are riding right along with them in their pockets!
