Last summer when I ventured into the realm of our sister company, Rapid Success Partners’, Rapid Success Experiment I had no idea how my own life would change in the process. For many of us who are ‘intuitive,’ we just ‘know’ things… we have processes we ‘do,’ and yet we could not tell you how we do things in a linear, process-oriented way. This is a common phenomenon, which has been documented as far back as the 70s when Bandler and Grinder studied master therapists to understand what these experts were doing to get such phenomenal results. The therapists themselves couldn’t really say, they just knew.

As a person who has grown another company we owned significantly in a short period of time as well as working with others to do the same, I, too, just knew. My strategic mind combined with an understanding of people, business and economics resulted in simply knowing.

Last summer, while sharing the insights I’ve gathered over the last few years of working with clients as an intuitive, all of a sudden patterns began to reveal themselves and soon I, too, was experiencing amazing transformation right along with our clients.

At the end of the Experiment (Group 1 ended in December and Group 2 ended in January), I could see that I was completely different as a person just like our clients. As clients asked what was ‘next’ I knew I didn’t feel that I wanted to create another group. After a couple of weeks of ‘percolating’ on what might be next, it made sense that I could teach others to share this process with others and enjoy the same transformation process, too.

To think of Mentors sharing this process with others and then, in as little as six months, finding their own clarity and focus, I find myself feeling extremely happy and grateful. If you want to be one of the first Rapid Success Coach-Mentors, sign up today.

A Life Coach

October 30, 2009

Back in my days of labeling myself by what I was ‘doing’… marketer, mom, wife, daughter…it seemed so much easier to slap a label on me and move on. There was no dissonance in how I felt about the label. The label was fine.

Today, by contrast, I find that I want to be truthful in the labeling of who I am. I question the labels, and, on occasion, I’ve vehemently denied a label.

One of the labels many have given me is life coach. I’ve thought…what does a life coach do? Am I a life coach? Is this true? I used to think no, but when I talk to clients they affirm… yes, this is exactly what I am.

A month or so ago now, one special client shared that she felt like I was more like a guide – a spiritual guide that helps navigate the interiors. Now, this label has a zing to it that gets my heart racing. I’ve often seen a topographic map in my mind of various terrains we all carry within us… and my greatest joy is assisting people to find the path home to their heart and soul.

So… am I life coach… yes… a life guide… a joy guide… a soul guide that helps you create the life that you love to live. I realize, too, I am a teacher of other guides… a new label that feels amazingly juicy.

Now that feels good!
