Each one of us has a soul gift to share with the world in a big, big way. We all have many soul gifts, and yet there’s one that will shine above all others.

In coaching and in our business coaching groups, I work with the Gallup StrengthsFinder assessment to help people ‘see’ themselves. It’s one thing for a person to be told … hey, your talent is XYZ, something altogether different for that person to have personal recognition of the Truth of who he or she is.

I’ve seen such phenomenal results from sharing this information with clients, that I begin each and every client with this assessment combine with the mapping of this assessment we use called CoreClarity.

Recently, Spirit has given me a new tool to use with clients where their soul gifts can be mapped and where I can see very clearly how close they are to living their soul’s ideal potential. I’ve had so much fun with this and seeing how we truly all ARE on a path to who we ARE and all along the way we get to express who we are at any given moment.

This past January, I must have read for at least a dozen illuminators – people whose soul gift is to shine the light of Truth in the world. These amazing men and women were shiny and sparkly from the inside!

They all seemed to resonate with the idea of being a ‘light’ – many commented that they loved anything sparkly, shiny or ‘lit up.’ If you are an illuminator, you may find that you exhibit these characteristics:

• Can easily see through people’s darkness, shadow, false self to see the truth of the person.
• Energize people wherever you go, possibly even drawing in people who ‘need’ to be energized.
• Find it easy to take the higher road, the path that is the best for all involved, making it easy to leave behind the pettiness of everyday gossip, hurts, and resentments.
• Feel as if you are ‘lit from within’ and can hold space for yourself and others in a storm.

If you are an illuminator, be sure to take good care of yourself. Energetically, people who are in the dark will be attracted to your light and will often want to ‘plug’ into you. We are now in a time when you can better serve them by illuminating their truth and by taking time to see them – acknowledge their light, their truth. Speak what you see and that will help them grow their own inner light.

Illuminators love to shine brightly…you can shine super bright when you take good care of yourself so be sure to love all and let go of their darkness realizing that you can best serve by shining the light into the dark, not by taking the dark home with you. The contrasts help people heal and move to a higher soul level…illuminators included!
