Before I left, in a prayer, I heard… trust and go, Tina. And I did… not knowing what the trip would hold in store for me. I knew it would be good – everything felt good around it. How wonderful!

For many weeks prior to leaving, I ‘felt’… I need ‘space.’

The Intellectual part of me thought I need WORK space…

Physically, I felt like I needed more space … new house with cathedral ceilings (so we talked to a realtor about listing our house)…

Emotionally, I felt like I needed time alone…

On a soul level, I felt like I was expanding and I had to find space where I could grow larger…

Energetically, I felt like I was being called home…

Many things happened with this attention… offers for office space. A realtor who came over and went over our current house… and a week in a house that has cathedral ceilings (in San Diego). On the emotional, I created time alone and space alone… but still wanted more. On the soul level, several expansion meditations were shared, and energetically, I felt like I came home when I got to California.

It wasn’t until I was in the presence of the ocean that I realized it was my heart that was asking for beauty and expansion … and then I felt satisfied in the presence of the ocean and the beauty, and I actually stood there exhaling feeling like… ah, I made it. I felt like I could run my energy across the ocean as far as it could go and let go…truly let go and surrender.

What a gift…

                                and all I had to do was trust.

Yes, it IS July in Texas, and it is HOT. Did we say 105 degrees hot? Yes, it is H-O-T.

But then Mr. Chance Ferguson decided he wanted to go to Six Flags. True, his wonderful parents DID take him in 101 degree weather TWICE already this SUMMER.

The truth also is that we told him we would not go again for the rest of the summer due to the heat (or, rather, threat of heat stroke). This is where the story gets funny…

So I hear Chance in the other room talking to God asking God to make it rain so he can go to Six Flags. This is not unusual for Chance as we’ve taught him to ask and talk to God about EVERYTHING, and he has seen so many times that his weather requests are granted, he can boldly say… I asked for that!

Sure enough… about a day later, the rains come in, the clouds billowed in, the temp dropped to 75! And Chance is positively BEAMING and announcing that it is going to be cool ALL WEEK LONG!

I have to say… I love his spirit. He rarely will take no for an answer… and even when we arrived at Six Flags and he saw that the coaster he wanted to ride was closed due to clouds, he just asked for the sun to come out, which it did, then it got hot, so he asked for the clouds to come again, which they did, then it sprinkled, and another coaster shut down, so he asked for it to stop raining, which it did, and he manifested an entire day exactly the way he wanted, riding every ride he intended, and leaving well after his parents wanted to.

Isn’t it fun?

I enjoy watching it… and watching the clouds move in and out.

On the way home, we watched the most gorgeous sunset. The clouds were iridescent pink and purple. I can’t remember a more beautiful sunset.

Then Chance asked… “Mom, aren’t the clouds beautiful?”

I said, “Mmmm, hummm, yes, they are… they look like a painting.”

Then Chance said… “God made it just like that.”

Yes, that’s perfect.

Wow, where DID the last few days go? I’ve been M-I-A! It has been busy with new coaching clients, new business consulting clients, well… lots of new clients, including our Small Business, Big Success program (I added my Practice Builder for the last six months of the year to really TURBO CHARGE the rest of 2009).

Yes, I’ve been busy, but I LOVE to write to all of you. I feel like it is my way to connect one-to-one (yes, I can feel you) even though it is me shooting off stuff into the void.

To all of you who have emailed – I want you to know that I read each one of your emails and I ALWAYS pray for you and ask for God’s messengers to assist you on your path. Thank you for sharing your world with me – I feel grateful to walk with you.

In less than a week, it is amazing how many insights a person can have, and I want to share ALL of them with you. I am constantly humbled by how elegant and how phenomenal our world and universe is. There truly is order in the cosmos.

A few days ago, I blogged about music, and got so wrapped up in sharing all kinds of resources that I lost myself in the entry. An hour later, Mark came in and said, “WHAT are you doing?” I was totally lost in my world of music, going through my mental Rolodex to share my favs for meditating, journeying, and, of course, shaking your booty!

Apparently, that post wasn’t meant to be as my computer flickered and then *POOF* (insert Fairly Oddparents big cartoon cloud here) it was all gone!

Oddly, though, I had no reaction. I mean, seriously, I had probably 20 links to other sites (that I looked up individually) where you could tap into these amazing artists, etc. and NO reaction. No frustration… no irritation…nothing. Just, “Well, guess that wasn’t meant to be!”

Later that evening, I wondered about the non-response… Why didn’t I react to what could easily have seen as frustrating? And, quite honestly, something I have reacted to before.

What came to me was that the post was really for me. And, it was a way for me to appreciate these artists for their company along my journey. The hour was spent in gratitude…thankful for each one of these people who followed their hearts to do what they love, and because they did, I enjoyed their gifts.

I have close to 10,000 CDs… a serious music collector of everything from rap (Fergie) to trance music (Liquid Bloom) to classical (Vivaldi is my favorite). I truly love to listen to the words and the vibe behind this art.

The one thing I really wanted to share in that lost post is that music is God’s medicine chest. Feeling down? Put on some positive music or music that connects you to a happy time and instantly you are in another energy and place. Feeling scared? Put on a track that reminds you of a time when you were fearless. Music can LITERALLY transport you into a better, more productive energy. And, how simple is that?
