Energy Never Dies

February 5, 2010

Imagine this…me, driving down the road in our Tahoe (silver-ish), dancing in my seat to the Black Eyed Peas new album, The End. There’s not much I love more than music that takes me to another place.

This album reminds me of how I felt when I was in my 20s… carefree, bullet proof, anything is possible…and what could be better than that?

Mmmmm, a luscious treat at any moment you want it. Just hit play.

Looking for a Dream Life:

Are you feeling as energized as I am this year? I hope so… wow, this year is amazing already!

I am so grateful for each one of you…for the messengers… for life.

The energy right now is fast… like lightning fast… use it to your advantage to get things cleared out, cleaned up, and moving toward what you truly want to create.

I love, love, love how special this time is. Just like you… and me… let’s make the most of it!

Mark asked me the other day how I can write about three or four days for so many posts. WHAT is so important? What could you possibly say for so many posts?

Hmmm, that’s a great question, I thought.

Everything and nothing at all.

One of the things I noticed the most on that trip was a surreal type of energy that would envelop me at the oddest times… and would finally come to a heightened sense of ‘Hey, listen to me!’ the last day.

This energy, if I had to describe it was sparkly like stars in a flume of rainbow currents. Beautiful, inviting and magical. I so wish you could share in it.

Yesterday, as I described this feeling, I said, “Have you ever been talking to someone and it felt like they got really close to you even though they didn’t move?” Thankfully… she said, “Yes. I know that feeling.” If you know that feeling… it’s that same feeling, but not as magnetic… more flowy and spacious.

What a sweet messenger it is to heighten the awareness!

During my guitar lesson last week, my attention felt magnetized toward the window that was just to the right of me. Time seems to drift away during these lessons, and I rarely take my eyes off the instructor for a second. An hour can vanish in what feels like seconds.

But last week, my eyes kept wanting to go outside, through the window and out to whatever it was that was grabbing my attention.

“It” turned out to be a flying squirrel and a lovely woodpecker. The woodpecker was HUGE! My sense was that the squirrel caught my attention so I could see woodpecker. Though this bird was giant, I believe she was a girl.

And here is what I could find on our friend the woodpecker – and she DID so feel like a friend. How sweet and lovely she was!

When a Woodpecker totem enters your life, it indicates that the foundation is there and it is safe to follow through. It will stimulate new rhythms.
It reflects a wakening of new mental faculties.

You may be so wrapped up in mental and spiritual activities that you’ve neglected the physical. Listen to your body’s rhythms and sounds and heed what it is telling you.

The Woodpecker is sacred to Zeus, God of Thunder, and the oracle of Mars (Ares), God of War. Shamans can ride the drumbeats of the Woodpecker’s rhythm into another dimension, space and time.

Boy is this right… time to get physical, physical… :)

I wrote about Robert A. Johnson’s book, Inner Work, a few days ago and wanted to share a little more about why I so connected with its information.

For a long time I have been deeply involved with my dreams – I have prophetic dreams, I have lucid dreams, I enjoy regular unconscious type of dreams, and I, of course, LOVE to help clients achieve their dreams.

As long as I can remember I have thought about my dreams in the morning. I lie in bed trying to pull back as much as I can about what I was dreaming. Each one has a distinct feeling to it similar to how I read energy for clients. Some of the dreams feel ‘real’ as in…you are connected to someone else. For example, I often will have dreams for my business clients or about my business clients that show me something I need to know. It is truly ‘what you see is what you get’ where the characters are telling me something about the client. Other dreams have been more like I was actually witnessing something that was actually going on in their true life. I take care to disconnect as not to invade anyone’s privacy – usually this happens when it is something I can offer to listen about. Trust me, after the experience I had with my intuition breaking open the LAST thing I want is to know anyone’s private thoughts!

All of this to say that I have always wondered if everyone perceived their dreams in this way. Do they feel like mine do? Do they work the same way? And, in this book, Johnson shares how Jung talked about the archetypes as an ‘energy’ that we, as a collective group of people, tap into. These archetypes are as old as time, and whether you know about them or not, they hold wisdom, truth, understanding for you.

As I read this, I got more and more excited because this is how I’ve lived – everything has a soul… and energy… information…wisdom. EVERYTHING…and how appropriate that even our archetypes are messengers of truth.

My mind is literally spinning with the possibilities of what this means as I recall the images that have been coming over and over the last few months…queens, goddesses, fairytale type characters that whisper… “Pssst, this way…” Mother Mary, during the Gallery at Hope House talked about everything, every day being a joy…and the image that came to mind was Snow White as this model of singing with the birds.

How joyful it is to live in this world…free to roam and free to be me. I hope you, too, will join us in this magical, sacred world of energy where EVERYTHING has a message for you.
