A few weeks ago, we went to a family get together with some close friends. As we walked in, one of them blurted out, “Did you hear Bethenny sold her cocktail company?”

I had not heard the great news that she ‘reportedly’ sold her company for an estimated $120 million, but it certainly didn’t surprise me. I have a distinct ‘sixth sense’ around business and what will work well for a person – what is in true alignment with the person’s purpose. When I saw Bethenny Frankel’s Skinny Girl margaritas a couple of years ago when she was on The Real Housewives of New York, I immediately thought, “That woman is going to be very, very rich one day.”

Our friends knew of this so-called prediction because I had been talking about how purpose unites with passion in the most amazing, seemingly haphazard ways. Similar to Sara Blakely who created Spanx as a result of her own need, so did Bethenny.

I had used Bethenny’s Skinny Girl margarita as an example of how her passion for living life without sacrificing perfectly reflected her creation of a margarita with all of the taste without all of the calories.

So, there we were in Bedford, Texas celebrating Bethenny’s company sale and how she has responded to the call of women everywhere who wanted all of the flavor without all of the calories.

Hey everyone. Thanks for the emails and words of kindness. Many of you were concerned about me because I haven’t been posting. The good thing about getting your emails is that it shows me that I post regularly enough that when I DON’T, or perhaps without a mention of why I am not posting, it alerts everyone that something may be wrong.

I am alive and well. No sickness here. I have just been really busy this week though I have many blog posts rolling around in my head.

I am finishing up my Ph.D. and starting my dissertation research, so I have been in that creative space and it is taking a lot of my creative energy and focus! Send your prayers, energy and love to me as I finish this up. My goal is to give this to myself for my birthday this year.

I was thinking about the last time I did this. I was 28 and a half and I had two years of school left to get my bachelor’s degree. I had been fiddle farting around for EIGHT years trying to figure out what I wanted to do. Before that, I had changed my major repeatedly…journalism, English, teaching, psychology. Well, the truth is that I knew what I wanted to do… I wanted to get my degree in social work and coach/counsel people, but all of the social work classes were during the day and I had a day job.

And, so I drifted. I focused on work, work, work working 60 to 80 hours per week.

Then, at around 28 and a half, I just woke up one day and thought, “I’m going to finish my degree before I turn 30!” I took action, signed myself up for as many classes as I could get. Figured out the money piece and went for it.

I took between 18 and 21 hours per semester every semester while working 60 to 80 hours per week so I could meet that goal. I didn’t think about it (thus I had no FEAR), I just did it. And, I hit the honors roll repeatedly, too. When I look back on that time, I don’t think of myself as being ‘great’ or ‘above average,’ I realize I just made an intention and followed through with it. Things happened to support me along the way, too.

For example, one semester I didn’t have the money to pay for my tuition. I was sitting in my office at work pouting about the situation, and admonishing myself for not saving more. I had taken a bunch of mini-vacations that left me short. I paid my way as I went, and I was short by about $1,500. Of course, I was MOST disappointed I would not meet my goal of graduating by my birthday. As I sat there, my boss at the time wandered in and asked me what I was doing and why I had not left to go register. At the time, the controller of the company and I were both finishing our degrees and she had already left to go register.

I told him the truth. I didn’t have the money, and so I wouldn’t be going that semester. He said, “What? Wait right here.” And then he left for a few minutes. I just sat there pouting. He came back and threw a check across the desk at me, “Here! Now get your ass over to that school and register!”

I moved as fast as I could to scramble and get over to the school in time. I never forgot that kindness, and, yes, I did hit my goal of graduating (with honors) by my 30th birthday.

A few months ago, I had the same thing happen. I was just talking to Mark and in the middle of it, something inside of me said, “It’s time to finish your degree.” I had completed most of the coursework but had not even sent it in! I realized I had great anxiety…as I shared in an earlier post, anxiety follows me when I get too far ahead of myself or when I am in a situation where I feel uncomfortable (usually because I don’t know how it works).

So, I got right up and went and put everything in order and I put down a schedule that would work and feel I can complete it (by working MANY hours per week) by my birthday. So far, so good! I feel energized by the coursework, which seems to be a blessing every day I go to it. I am realizing how much I have learned from Spirit and every day I get validations in my coursework that these tools are grounded in psychology and holistic practices that support people in being all they can be.

An intention has amazing energy tied to it. It can carry you along when you, yourself, don’t even know how you will make it. Whatever you desire, you can have it. Start today with an intention and watch how you will be guided, supported all the way to its creation!

Over the years, I have often wondered why one person can heal almost instantly and miraculously while another one gets an instant benefit and then lapses back into dis-ease. My questions have yielded various answers from not maintaining the ‘vibration’ of wholeness to ‘reaching back into dis-ease’ with one’s thoughts. They are essentially the same thing, but I realize that some people seem to have a mindset that naturally looks for what is wrong while others naturally have a set point toward what is possible.

In my quest to unravel the riddle of all humanity, I have wondered if people can change. And, if they truly can, then is this most beneficial? I wonder if we are meant to just ride the rail of whatever we are or are we supposed to move and evolve.

What I’ve observed over a lifetime is that we can never get away from what we are. What we are, though, is constantly changing, flexing with our reactions to our experience. But, in this, there is a constant…the soul is always what it is and never deviates from what it is and how it expresses. This is the highest and best inside of us, and it is always guiding us like a light within.

I see soul gifts that reflect the being’s soul wisdom, and this wisdom is always seeking to serve. No matter how closed off the person is, this energy is seeking its expression.

The rest, I believe, is up for change. We, as humans, are some of the most unevolved creatures with the most amazing ability to adapt. We could evolve quickly and yet if we remain trapped in our humanness, we seemingly evolve at a snail’s pace.

As humans, we have one function that allows us to rise above. It is our ability to consciously connect to divine…higher consciousness. We can literally bypass the smallest part of us and choose to go beyond; we may choose to expand into all that is and all that we already are.

This is such a comforting thought…to realize that if you believe you can, you can. With a simple shift in focus, a change in thought, we can literally make giant leaps in consciousness.

Dare to believe and think you can!

Idol reminds us…It only takes one day to change the rest of our lives. One decision…one leap toward what is possible. Each day you have the chance to make a life changing choice. Will you say, “Yes!”?

We got a little late start on American Idol this year, but better late than never. First thing I noticed? Wow, the new judges panel delivers good vibes! And, I’m not talking about being ‘nice’ as opposed to Simon’s ‘not nice.’ I’m talking about chemistry, baby!

What a wonderful surprise!

One of the things I’ve always loved about Idol is the ‘dreams fulfilled’ part of the equation. I mean, seriously, where else can a paint department employee become a top recording star?

I love, love, love the new energy Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez have added to Idol. love how they get into it and add so much energy, compassion, verve to the mix. Plus, is it just the cutest to see the contestants awe-struck??? So MANY delicious bits and pieces to this season already…can’t wait for more!

Am TOTALLY excited about Jimmy Iovine being part of the crew, too. The magicians behind the curtain hold such a big piece of the puzzle…producers…music makers…can’t wait to see how Jimmy works his unique brand of magic.

And, what about Caleb Hawley? Wow, he had some happy “I love to sing” vibes, didn’t he? Reminded me of Taylor Hicks. Oh, and wasn’t that the sweeeetest that Jennifer remembered that one little girl (the one that almost gave up and then remembered she isn’t a quitter?) and it made her day?

So fun to watch the judges sing along…with heart and soul. Makes the ‘no’s go down so much easier…

Plus, can you believe the totally raw vocals by these babies? These 16 year olds who have been dreaming about Idol for 10 years, and it sounds like they’ve been practicing for a decade, too.

Hi All… this has been a super busy week – internally as well as externally, so that is why I have not blogged here every day, although I have many blog entries written in my head for you! Now how many times have I said we should not use our minds to store things???

Today, I am presenting my Power of Dreaming Big workshop at PJ Spur’s Soul Compass MeetUp. This workshop is sold out… and I’m thrilled about being able to serve in this way. The many insights that have come as I have created this workshop especially for these participants have astounded me and I can feel a river of fun coming toward us for this afternoon.

As I keep sharing with you, I’m at a place now in my life/heart/soul where I feel I know in every part of who I am that I am here to be an example of trusting the connection with the infinite within. This will take me on many adventures, I’m sure. After so many years in Spirit University, I’m grateful and thankful for this graduation day. I know there will be many more graduation days as I continue to live, learn and love. Somehow, this one feels so hard-earned and sweet.

Last night, I watched the Keith Urban interview on the Oprah show. I am a HUGE Keith Urban fan. LOVE him!

As the little intro played prior to the show introducing him to the audience and viewers, there it was…Pictures of him as a little guy loving country music, playing guitar to Australian audiences and hitting super Aussie stardom, and then a few sentences such as “he left Australia and moved to Nashville where he rocketed to even great fame!”

And, while that sounds nice, it isn’t exactly true. They left out a minor detail of the 10 YEARS in between “leaving Australia” and “rocketing to fame” not to mention some major bouts with the dark night of the soul, drug abuse and false starts during that 10 years.

Why do I care?

Well, because I see people trying to measure up and reproduce these illusions and they are simply not real. I’ve probably read between 500 and 1,000 biographies and autobiographies, and any way you slice it, the arc is roughly 10 years.

I don’t care if you are Brittany Spears who started at 7 or so and was a superstar by 17 or you are Taylor Swift and you started singing at 3 and were a megasuperstar by 16 or you are J.K. Rowling who wrote for years, and then committed to a character and story for five years and hit mega stardom two to three years after that. Even late-in-life successes such as Paula Dean adhered to that time span.

The focus tends to be on the destination. The desire is attached to the fame. However, each one of these ‘superstars’ took a journey to the center of who they are and each day showed up to be what that is. Along the way, they figured out the details.

So, if you are feeling like it is going to take too long to reach your dream, keep this in mind. The sooner you get going, the sooner the 10 years (or so) ticks away. Be honest, if you didn’t believe in yourself until now (like I did) or if you haven’t had the courage until now (like many I know) or if you simply didn’t figure out what ‘it’ is (like most of us), give yourself a break and be happy that you are on the same trail as all of those who went before you. Enjoy the day to day details that are guaranteed to take you places if and only if you don’t quit (because it feels like that destination is just too far away).

You can be a REAL form of the true you…superstar and all…if you start today! What is REALLY exciting is that at that 10 year mark, things have a way of exponentially taking off.

P.S. And, if you don’t believe me about the 10 years or so, check for yourself. You can look up any movie star you like, find their ‘breakout hit’ and then travel back in time on their filmography and see how MANY films (and years) there were BEFORE they were famous enough for you to notice them. There’s a reason why there’s a term called a 10-year overnight success! Of course, like anything there ARE exceptions to the rules…though I don’t see many of them! And, don’t stop that from you being open to being one of them…still, it all starts in the same place and goes from there…one-step-at-a-time.

A friend and I chatted a few days ago about the difference between finding a ‘job’ and finding a ‘dream job.’ I said, “You know, it takes the same amount of effort to go for what you really want as it does to settle for what you don’t want.” She quickly retorted, “I disagree! It takes a lot of effort to go to a job you HATE every day.” I said, “I agree with you after you get a job you don’t like. What I’m talking about is the idea of people going for a job they think they can get vs. one they really want.”

While my Queenie Dreams self won’t be focusing on this aspect, Deb and I are collaborating to write a book for people looking for a job. It’s called, I’ve Got to Get a Job NOW! We are lending our sales and marketing expertise to a practical guide to finding a job NOW! As relationship experts, our approach will be heavily geared toward tapping into the power of people.

I’m looking for any stories you have about people’s experiences looking for a job. I am only looking for TRUE stories.

I drank in the Oprah interview with J.K. Rowling like a kid eating popcorn in the front row of the theater. Two of my favorite ladies in the world sitting together for tea, chatting like old friends felt like life at its best. I love a great conversation, and let me tell you, this was a great conversation.

Oprah asks such great questions – the ones I always want to ask – and J.K. (Jo) was so open and honest. Yeah!!

On the show, a clip from a Harvard University commencement speech showed Jo talking about failure and how failure is so important. She said that she hit rock bottom and that foundation is where she rebuilt her life. Having gone through my own huge failure (complete with paralyzing stint in the ditch) I so related to what she shared. I have spoken to friends about how we all ‘play it safe’ and ‘quit’ when we think we aren’t going to win something. I wrote about my Oprah tryout…that day my intuition told me I would not get a call back, but my inner guidance said, “Go.” In our world so focused on succeeding and racking up achievements, what would one every think about going somewhere where you know you won’t win? That day, I got to see and learn what the experience has to offer me.

My own failure was debilitating. I was ill-prepared for it as I had skirted dealing with any failure (except for the end of my first marriage) my entire life. Once I locked into a path, and then my intuition alerted me that all the doors were closing, I freaked (literally!). I was scared. I could only hold on for dear life. But what I didn’t know then that J.K., Oprah and many others, including myself, know is that failure is just a moment in time that molds you and offers you a gift to use to create something new. Like Jo said… her rock bottom became her foundation… “there was nothing left to lose.”

When Pat Bacilli was on my show a few weeks ago, she talked about this, too. She talked about not going for it, playing it safe. Jo, in the commencement clip, eluded to the unfortunate experience of playing it so safe that you might as well not lived at all. Ah, yes. Wise words for all of us.

When I go speak for organizations, I ask, “What is your juicy dream? What is the dream in the back of your heart that you know you want to go for?” Most people know what their dream is. Not many dare to let it see the light of day. I dare you to pull yours out and consider taking just one step.

When I went to the childrens’ book writing conference a few weeks ago, I met many people who had written for years and never considered publishing. There I was, juicy dream in my heart, 30+ years later considering the possibility of my dream. Why now? For me, it is because I’m no longer afraid. As Jo shared in her interview, poverty cut everything that was not essential. I’ve done that too. I now have space for what is most important to me, and I also know what is important to me. Now it is time to do only those things. Nothing more. Nothing less.

And, yes, spending an hour with Oprah and Jo is one of those things most important to me. It goes under the heading of ‘tea with good friends.’ It’s an interview I’ll never forget. It even included a tidbit about Jo hearing an encouragement from a ‘voice’… “The hard part will be getting published. If you do that, it will be huge.” SO glad she didn’t give up!

A few nights ago I dreamt that I was flying. Well, that’s not exactly true. It was more that I found this magic piece of paper and the more I pushed down on the paper, the higher up in the air I flew…more like propelled straight up into the air.

It was less flying and more of a take off. At first I felt unsure. Then I thought, ‘Hey, this could be fun.’ As I started playing more with the paper, the higher up I flew. At one point I was actually having fun with it. Then I looked down and became scared to death of how high up in the air I actually was (maybe 100 feet), and like a lead balloon plummeted back to Earth.

I’ve been mulling this dream around in my mind for days now. There was something so magical about it and yet so ‘right now’ and ‘right here.’ The feeling felt supported…divine and inspired.

Today I’m going to a conference for children’s book writers and illustrators. I am excited in a way I have not really felt before. A combination of butterflies, excitement and joyous enthusiasm mixed with the elixir of the child heart love brings me the most delightful feeling!

I shared a couple of weeks ago that this is my big, juicy dream – the one that no one has heard or seen. This has been my dream since I was a little girl. And, like Nicholas Sparks said before he committed to his first novel, The Notebook, “It’s now or never to see what can happen when I commit myself.”

Can’t wait to see what happens! I’ve been writing this book for about two months now (off and on as I often work on many projects at once). This story is based on a fairytale I created for Chance one night as a bedtime story. We continued it in nightly installments for weeks. Each day he kept begging me to tell him what was going to happen next. And, of course, I wouldn’t tell him – couldn’t tell him – because I didn’t know myself what would happen as these characters came to life right before my eyes!

Yesterday, I mentioned my Sharon Stone dream. People ask about dream interpretation all the time, and this is my take on it.

Every dreamer is different, I believe. I believe that energy is energy and that psychic energy (energy of the psyche) is like anything else – it exists and is called to whatever is calling to it. As an intuitive, the energies of each dream feel different to me. I use these feelings to know which kind of dream I’ve had.

Most of the people I know who are highly intuitive have what we call prophetic dreams where we are dreaming of something that is coming in the future. These dreams feel real – almost like a movie. I usually have these when I ask a question like: “Show me what is possible.”

Many of us also have dreams for loved ones. I call these messenger dreams as we are assisting as messengers for our loved ones. One of mine assisted in my mom’s healing, for example. My grandmother came in a dream and told me my mother needed me, and showed me that I was an anchor in my mother’s heart. Sure enough, that was true. For me, these types of dreams feel like I am watching something. They feel like I’ve traveled somewhere and am watching something play out – almost like a voyeur. I have seen friends in crisis, I have seen a favorite music artist open his new restaurant, I have seen many things in these dreams.

Other dreams are what Carl Jung talked about being a way the psyche works out its conflicts and challenges in the dream time. In these, imagery and symbols will be used that are meaningful to the dreamer. These help you see what’s underneath the surface of your mind.

The Sharon Stone dream felt like it was all me. That she, as a muse, was a part of me. I had made a huge step the morning before I had that dream. I had followed through on my childhood dream of writing for children. I actually sent a query letter to an agent I found by following my intuition in the Writer’s Market. I have always done the writing, where I had not taken myself is the extra step to share my writings with the audience they were intended for and who inspire my stories.

In my dream, I had gotten frustrated with the lack of movement in working with businesses that seemed to only be interested in making more money, and I quit my ‘job’ and went directly to a writing class.

As I sat in the stadium-style classroom, Sharon Stone breezes in and exclaims, “Where have you been? I’ve been looking everywhere for you!” She was dressed in the garb she wears in the movie, The Muse, one of my favorite movies. She goes on to say, “You’ve been gone so long! I thought you would never come back!”

In these types of dreams, it is easy to look at the surface and piece two and two together to get a logical, simple explanation of the dream. I’ve found that the investment of time to truly dive into the psyche’s energies is worth the investment, and the method I recommend most for those willing to do it is Robert A. Johnson’s Inner Work dream interpretation process.

This process allows the dreamer, a.k.a. YOU, to reveal what the dream means to YOU, rather than relying on dream encyclopedias and such.

I feel that we are all multifaceted jewels, and I believe the journey deep inside of us is one of the most beautiful. I wish I could take a snapshot each time I am gifted with the opportunity to peer inside of a person’s heart. Each one is so unique and so delicately, divinely radiant!

Dreamers united today for the first day of Dream Camp. Ever since Velma, a.k.a. The Queen of Joy, and I dreamed up this little soul get together, I’ve been getting all kinds of inspirations for the campers. I knew that we would be going high, high, high up into the ethers, but I had no idea how HIGH we were going to go! It’s actually, not high, like up in the sky, it’s more out…into other dimensions – the creation plane, to be more specific. Call it The Field, Zero Point, Unified Creation, whatever you want… we had so much fun today!

We connected to our dreamers and the surprise was that each one was not at all what each person thought it would be. Now that was fun! More like magical, inspirational…transformational!

This week, it was back to basics…next week, it’s all about finger painting. Yes, you can do this too. Dream camp is for the child inside that already knows how to dream… it’s more of a reacquainting with the dreamer and an undoing of all the things that keeps you from believing anything is possible. Hey everyone, thanks so much for your well wishes. I didn’t get a call back, though Ellany Cevan, did!! Send your well wishes her way…let’s share the love! Ellany, Brandon (her husband) and I went to the auditions at 4:45 am. We arrived just before 5 am. There were hardly any people there – maybe 100 or so. We were numbers 22, 23 and 24 in Line D. They took groups with 12 people each and we pitched ourselves and our show ideas to one person from the OWN crew. Ellany nailed it and totally deserves to be there! PLUS, she set an intention LAST YEAR (before the contest was even announced) that she was going to have a show on the OWN network. That’s what I call INTENTION, baby!

What I learned from going for it:

1. Going big with friends is better. If you don’t make it, then you still get to celebrate for your friends, and if you do, then they can celebrate with you!

2. Just going big feels amazing. As we stood in line, we patted ourselves on the back for just DOING IT. I am still feeling the expansiveness of possibility despite not getting a call back. “This or something better” for my highest good is my motto!

3. It’s not as scary as you think it’s going to be. In my mind, I thought it was going to be a much bigger deal than it was. It was really simple, really laid back and the people were awesome – those trying out and those working with OWN (of course).

4. When you put yourself into greater possibility, you want to stay there. Even as we were waiting in line, I was exclaiming, “THIS feels A-MAZING…what else can we experience?”

5. You always get a gift for yourself. For me, just filling out the application was a gift to see and consider things I haven’t thought about in years. Clarity came in the form of… yes, life is FULL of possibility!

6. I have so many people who love me. Your emails and well wishes touched my heart – thank you!! What a gift to enjoy those. Brandon and Ellany came to spend the night since the tryouts were just 10 minutes from our house (is that lucky or what?). We had so much fun the night before we stayed up all night!

7. Breaking barriers is fun. When I was in Junior High, I made it to the second round of cheerleader tryouts but felt I would not make the squad. Rather than ‘fail,’ I quit. The reason why was I didn’t want to be embarrassed by ‘losing.’ Today, nearly 30 years later, I’m realizing there is no embarrassment in losing something that was never yours to begin with! Isn’t that so funny? Leaving that behind was a huge gift.

8. Thinking you could do something someone else is doing as you are watching them is NOT the same as actually doing it. We’ve all watched people trying out and thought, “I could do that.” Well, I can tell you that LIVING your life and EXPERIENCING it is not nearly the same as watching others live their lives. GO FOR IT!! For years, I really thought I WAS living my life but what I was really doing was living it vicariously through watching others. My intuitive nature allowed me to do that. Boy, LIVING is so much better!

9. Only I can decide for myself. I decided I was going and I knew what I wanted was the feeling of I did it! I showed up! And, boy, did I get that feeling and then some. It was awesome!

10. If you don’t try, you’ll never get the chance. Mark’s mom said to me, “Well, if you don’t go, you know you won’t get a chance!” Mark says, “If you want to win the lottery, you’ve got to buy a ticket. I would add, “and you must claim it too!”

I’m so inspired by the experience, I’m wondering what else I can do with this energy!! Where can you ‘go for it?’ in your life? Do it today… jump in, the water’s fine!!

P.S. Mark is going to post some pics. The crew made jokes that they weren’t going to judge us on what we looked like in 100 degree weather. It wasn’t yet 100 degrees, but it was HUMID and my hair was frizzing to the max! LOL

So, you all know I love dreaming and I love dreams and I REALLY love to hear the stories of dreamers out there who had a dream and went for it.

Priscilla Ahn did just that. She is a singer-songwriter and took her little 18 year old self out to L.A. and went for it. Here’s a snippet of her story. I love her song, Dream (see below). Maybe you’ve heard it in the movies, Bride Wars or Love Happens.

I received many emails yesterday about the piece that ran about Robert Butler and his Volleyball Dream Business on NBC5i here in Dallas-Ft. Worth. I was interviewed as part of that piece and in it I talked about daring to push the limit of reality as you now know it.

More people seemed to cue into that part of the interview more than any other part. And, to me, this is the place I most love to play in with clients. It is so much fun to dissolve barriers and edges of reality.

Want to find your edges? Ask what you believe about whatever it is that you are creating. Yesterday, a client and I played with this and while $5,000 a month was not an issue, $5,000 a month for one client seemed different. All of a sudden, all of the borders or rules came out with this idea. Soon, she was dashing off one after another… and now her possibility threshold is just a bit larger and more infinite – just like she is!

Dare to push the edge of possibility… and don’t forget to have fun!!

I don’t know if you know any hockey fans, but I have talked to THREE different people in the last 30 days (all from Canada) and they are CRAZY about hockey. I mean, seriously, they talk about it like it is their LIFE!

Which made me think about this…what am I THAT passionate about? I mean, seriously? It’s not sports… it’s not hockey (although I have to admit the ONE hockey game I attended was GREAT)…and it really isn’t a big list of other things.

When I read this quote, it made me realize that my life and my work really are the same. I LOVE people. I love to watch them, I love to talk to them, I love to experience them (feeling their different energies), I love to share stories with them. So, in my world, any day with a bunch of people or a few people… or just me as a people is a good day.

I used to really be harsh with myself about what am I doing with my life? And now I know… I love people, I love ideas… and entrepreneurs are people with ideas. It’s a great day when I can combine a day with entrepreneurs who are also conscious and interested in transformation (another love) and we can spend time sharing our ideas with each other.

This blog is like that… it isn’t a job. It’s my place to share what I’m thinking about all day (well, not ALL day… bits of the day, really).

I’m so loving the feeling and the energy of hockey fans. They are fanatical in a very unique feeling way. It is truly wonderful to hear them tell their stories!

Hey y’all. How y’all doin’? I’ve been reading Paula Deen’s autobiography and it is so good. I love biographies – I can gobble them up like Chicklets. This one is sweet and honest. I appreciate her candor and there are so many good lessons she teaches. I’m amazed by her truthfulness. Wow.

One thing I learned in Miss Paula’s book is about having a vision. For Paula, she read a book called A Woman of Substance that gave her a vision to reach for. She kept saying she was going to be a Woman of Substance – even when her reality looked like anything but! She made a commitment to become a Woman of Substance, and I believe, y’all, she’s done that. Don’t you?

It reminds me of my own desire to leave a legacy. I didn’t know what that meant but I started thinking about it a couple of months ago. You all know I know I’m not perfect, but somehow I started thinking there might be something bigger I could be doing to be of service.

I came up with an idea, and from there, it has grown and grown over the last few weeks. That idea is the Rapid Success Experiment. And, I want to invite you all to join us to go BIG to end 2009 on a high note.
