I’m sitting here writing blog entries, capturing tidbits of information flowing through my mind, and in the background I can hear a muffled stream of sound. It’s Chance…singing in the shower. For as long as I can remember, he has used sound in a myriad of ways. In the car to soothe himself as a baby and toddler, as a young child sound became a game to play, and now as a young boy he loves to play with sound like an experiment to see where it might take him. We even tone at night to destress and get ready for sleep. Sound is a big deal at our house.

Sound also is such a powerful way to connect to all parts of yourself. To play, sing a song (shower or not) or just start babbling with various sounds coming up. It may feel silly at first, but once you try it and let the sound take you…you’ll be hooked!

One of my favorite sound healers is Mark Stanton Welch. This CD is phenomenal for toning and clearing energy. See if sound healing is for you! This CD has many goodies on it – check out his site for more detail.
