Last Sunday, our world enjoyed a solar eclipse. These events happen about every 18 months, and usher in all kinds of energetic gifts. I really have never known much about how all the star gazing and that stuff worked until I followed my insatiable curiosity about this solar eclipse to watch a special on the National Geographic Channel.

I’m fascinated by Quantum Physics and astronomy…I’ve written about this many times before – GO TO YOUR PLANETARIUM if you ever feel overwhelmed here in the world – you’ll get a huge perspective shift! :) Our universe is vast and filled with so many gifts!

This special teaches how these eclipses affect our world and how understanding them better allows us to also understand our own world. Here in North America, the eclipse wasn’t visible, but Easter Island was the place where it could be seen easily (that’s why they called it The Easter Island Eclipse).

Check out these spectacular photos… And, don’t forget, you can see these photos daily at the NASA Photo of the Day site.
