Oh my goodness. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy … (where did that expression originate?)… I’m SO EXCITED!!! I wrote about passion… where’s the passion baby? In my last post.

As I wondered, guess what? I came into the presence of it! I met with Brittany Allen, designer extraordinaire and a.k.a. Zoe the Clown recently. I wanted to know all about her experience at clown camp this year. As she spoke, some part of me was magnetized toward what she was saying. I could literally feel the JOY radiating from her heart!

When I left, I thought… “I want to go to clown camp!” And then I went on my way to my next appointment and promptly forgot about it.

The next day, I couldn’t get the clown camp thing out of my mind. I kept thinking about a speaker she mentioned will be there next year. I kept wanting to know what it felt like to be there.

Then, we were talking or emailing and I said, “I want to go to clown camp!” And, Brittany shared later that she thought I was saying it to be nice.

BUT, I went out to check on it, and the fee was so REASONABLE that I decided right then and there I AM going to Mooseburger Camp!!!! I want to have that experience!!!

Brittany and I squealed with laughter as we joked about clown camp, as I shared I was in drama and theatre, on the speech/debate team, etc. in high school, and I would have NO problem doing a skit in front of a hundred clowns!

THEN, a magical thing happened.

I’ve been so excited about going (which is a WHOLE YEAR AWAY y’all!) that I’ve been telling EVERYONE! I must sound like those hockey people I told you about! I told a friend about it, and she said, “I want to come!”

And I knew she meant it.

So… now, I’ll be going with veteran clown, Zoe, and newbie clown, Pam, and we will have a riotous good time next summer. I can’t wait… I’m so excited!

Plus… Brittany is going to help me with my clown makeup and we WILL be creating a clown costume (Pam already has one) for me that is very PINK, very queen-like, and if you want a picture of what I have in my head… think Naomi Judd frilly, taffeta style duds!

Want to know more about clown camp? Check these out…by the way, the lisp is not Pricilla… it is a mix up with the audio.
