New moms want to know what really works! They already know motherhood is hard, even though well meaning friends and family try to soften the reality by telling them 'it gets easier.' While raising her family on both the east coast in Pennsylvania and west coast in California, Claudine Wolk found that new moms were most concerned with three very practical issues: how to get more sleep, how to get their baby on a schedule and how to cope with the "mother-guilt" imposed by themselves and society at large. She decided to attempt the impossible - make Motherhood a bit easier!
Her strategy - employ a little humor and lots of practical advice. "Forget about playing nice and pretending that everything is normal and fine," Wolk says. "Motherhood is hard! A new mom wants to know the insider secrets of new motherhood and what really works."
