As I was walking around our flower pots today I noticed how our Jefferson Roses are still blooming.
Our flowers give me such joy and help me stay grounded when working in our business or on my latest book. There is an amazing stress re leaver that comes over me just sitting in the presence of such a beautiful creation.
Then it struck me.. if a picture is worth a thousand words, real flowers must be worth a thousand words and feelings. Because you cannot get the same joy from just a picture of flowers alone. You need to be next to them so you can smell them, and see the way the light reflects off of the petals and leaves. You need to see how each blossom is unique and special in it’s own way.
So the next time your looking on the internet and see a picture of a flower why not go out to your garden and plant some. Or better yet go online and look at flowers of all shapes and sizes and send some to someone you love.
I just bet that special someone will find joy and inspiration in their aroma and beauty.
