One of the things I hear most from clients is how they can’t believe that these amazing divine messengers come to talk to them. Somehow in our world God, Jesus, and others are ‘out there’ and we are lowly beings that are ‘here.’

Because I’ve had experiences my entire life with the messengers, to me they are normal, regular folk. Yes, with special gifts of unconditional love, but definitely accessible. I have never called out to God directly or otherwise and not received an answer.

A few years ago I went to a workshop Betsy Bergstrom held in Michigan. I felt like I had to get there, and when I did, I had some of the most impactful experiences of my life. I’ll share some of the others in another post, but the one with Jesus has changed my life.

You see, I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas when I was little. Right in the heart of the bible belt. When I was three, I had an experience with Jesus and an angel. For years I had ‘felt’ things in the dark – during the daytime too – but especially in the dark. I would play games to keep my mind distracted. Open one eye and imagine I was as big as the room like Alice in Wonderland, close it and open the other one and then imagine I was tiny as an ant so I could scurry under the mattress if anything tried to come near me.

One night, as I laid on my side closing one eye and then the other, I could see the light from the hallway coming in on me, but then, in the corner next to the doorway, another doorway opened up and a beautiful luminous angel came in. She was all sparkly and light. For some reason, I wasn’t afraid. I just looked at her mesmerized with her light, and then, right behind her was a man with a long robe and long hair. I don’t remember a beard, but I do remember how I felt. I felt safe. Cutting through the fear, I felt safe in his presence. He was illuminated, too, just not as translucent as the angel.

He told me his name was Jesus, and He told me he knew me, and that there was nothing to be afraid of. I would always be in His care and supported. At the time I don’t know that I realized what that meant, but those words would sustain me many, many times throughout the coming years.

I have talked with Jesus over the years, but I have not ‘seen’ him in clear sight since that night. During Betsy’s workshop, he came through so clearly, speaking and addressing my fear of sharing who I am with others.

He said, “Tina, there is no heart I do not know. Set aside your concerns about religions and care for my people. There is not one heart that I do not know and who does not know me.”

As clear as that was, it would take many other experiences before I would truly be able to release the fear created after I saw Jesus when I was three.

As that little girl, I went ‘looking’ for him, and people told me to go to church because that is where Jesus is. When I went to church, I went alone on a bus as no one else in my family went to church. When I asked people at church where “Jesus” was because I wanted to talk to Him, I was told that Jesus is all around. When I told them I had seen Him and wanted to sit with Him and talk to Him, then I was told that was impossible and that people who say they can do that are evil. I was told the bible talks very specifically about people who say these things.

Now, 37 years later, I find all of this so hard to believe, but I look at my own child who at 3 seemed like he was 8, and can believe it.

It took many, many years to accept myself for who I am…intuitive gifts and all. But one thing I know for sure is that Jesus loves ALL the children of the world, yes including you, He told me so.

And, since I’ve let go, many, many people who have left Jesus have begun to have a new relationship with Him. I see the grace and presence I knew way back then as these people embrace the Jesus they’ve always known in their heart.

I don’t know why these things happen, all I know is that He is responding to many people who are calling to Him right now. He is the message, I just happen to be lucky enough to be the messenger.

This morning, Rico and I took off for a walk. Heavenly comes to mind when I think of how it felt … maybe 70 degrees. Rain threatened to come in all day yesterday so this morning caught the wind and the chipper feel of rain.

So, picture this, me in my oversized baggy sweats – think slumpadinka for sure – and an old denim short-sleeved shirt. Not glamorous, but true. Beside me is this regal, 185 lb. gorgeous English Mastiff who is AFRAID of EVERYTHING! What is Rico afraid of? Cars, trucks, kids who are not calm, men, women, other dogs who are not calm, wood floors where he has slipped before, tile floors where he has slipped before, things that are not familiar, and the list goes on!

We hit the trail by our house and immediately were confronted by a DART bus picking up a disabled child for school, after maneuvering him along the path and quickly ducking down the side road, we came upon an intersection of about eight dogs. I turn him around and go right back where we came from. Then, we turn down another adjacent street to go back toward the greenbelt (it’s so pretty and especially on a day like this!), get across the bridge where he notices the bridge bobbling and stops – dead in his tracks – What? What’s that? Scooby comes to mind with the babbling voice.

We finally have a stretch of the sidewalk to ourselves when a petite – seriously, like five foot tall – woman begins walking behind us. Rico keeps looking back as if he’s wondering when she’s going to get us. Finally, I have enough of that, head up the hill (steep one at that) and start walking on a side road where we encounter a friendly gentleman who waves. As we draw closer, I can tell. He has that look in his eyes… that he wants to PET Rico. I know that look…I’ve seen it SO many times before. I mean, people are mesmerized by Rico’s sheer size and some are magnetically drawn to him. But this isn’t the morning. I don’t know if it is the density of the humid air or what but he was SOOOO much more afraid today. Sure enough, the man calls to him. Rico puts up his best show… oh no, you aren’t petting me. He even bristles his hair, which is not usual at all. I finally step in and urge the man to step away from the mastiff and I know what he was thinking… I’ve never seen one in person.

As we headed back the way we came – *again* – I thought about how much pleasure Rico misses out on because of his fears. I remember when he was younger how he loved to lap up the attention from kids at the park. But now… he’s grown neurotic and scared of seemingly everything except us. Good thing we are a calm crowd.

Then I thought of myself… what am I afraid of that I deny myself the pleasure and excitement of knowing? A few things came to mind…many I’ve addressed (can you believe it – I’m still here to tell the tale)… and today I’m going to embrace one more. How about you?

I’ve been dreaming since … well, as long as I can remember. I almost died at 7 months old from chicken pox, and clearly remember the events surrounding that despite not being able to remember other things that happened last week. lol

What I remember most about life as a kid was dreaming about what it was like being other people. My insatiable curiosity about other people took me into their energy, into their worlds. As I grew older, I wondered about the people who lived in ‘those’ houses…big houses that did not match ours. What did they know we didn’t? I wanted to know.

I spent most of my early life in my quest to find out, and ultimately did learn what they knew we didn’t. And, the secret is… they had a bigger vision of possibility. They believed in bigger dreams, bigger possibility and followed it.

You can too…open your heart and mind WIDE and go! I did, and it has taken me on amazing adventures… let’s dream bigger together!

For a long time I’ve known that the best way to handle a goof is to address it quickly. Take action on it, and go into the fear, not away from it.

This weekend, after ‘goofing’ with a client’s voice mail message (this is why Brandie handles all my appointment setting), I then goofed again with the SAME client. I thought to myself, GEEZ! LOUISE! What now? I took action, owned up to the goof, then quickly offered a solution. We arrived at a new agreement in 5 seconds, and then took off on an amazing healing adventure!

It turns out that she and I were almost identical mirrors in the “hard work” area…often working TOO MUCH and playing TOO LITTLE. And did I say being TOO SERIOUS. Surely these goofs brought in levity because I finally had to laugh at how ridiculous it really is to beat ourselves up over being just what we are – human! (Yes, we need to have standards and do our best, but even so we are going to have goofs).

I guess I’ll never know why the goofs come… but as long as I keep saying THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING everything seems to be good – yes, and that includes the goofs. I can *almost* even laugh immediately at them – now that’s progress!

Got this email from my mom this morning. Yesterday, we met for lunch at Cracker Barrel on her‘way’ back from Canton, where she goes to get wood crosses to make her amazing cross creations. She’s an artist at heart and I love that I grew up with that influence. We’ve been SEARCHING for MONTHS for the new magazine, Where Women Create, as we positively are ADDICTED to certain artists! Sally Jean, Mary Jane Butters, Jo Packham, and others. Not exactly sure WHY we were searching since it seems it is everywhere now that I spied the first two issues at one of my ab-fab-fav stores in McKinney – 120! I want to share my mom’s sweet, practical observation… and it is so fitting because we talked about the power of a dream on Queen of Dreams Radio last night, and in the first two issues of this AMAZING magazine, Jo Packham wrote tremendously inspiring letters about CREATING YOUR OWN DREAM.

Thank you for finding the Where Women Create books I am about to go blind reading them.  How about that Sally Jean and Mary Jane Butters….the message they all seem to have isn’t really new though is it?    Dream it and get up and do it!!    I’m going to e-mail them and ask how quick they can get K.C. Willis in this magazine….life will be perfect then. – LOVE MOM

One of the things I love most about my mom is she doesn’t ‘over think’ things. She’s simple. It’s the simple things that make her happiest. Like a magazine, full of inspirational art and musings…and seeing the truth behind it all.

Watched American Idol last night and one of the things that stood out to me was the difference between the people who know who they are and those who are willing to trade in who they are to win. When you follow your heart, play the lead in the original play you are creating, and dare to break the rules, you’ll find that God takes you to places you couldn’t even imagine if you tried.

One of the main things we do to help people go to the next level is gain the courage to be who they really are, show up in a way that makes them stand out in the crowd, and have a whole lot more fun while they are doing it!

Back in 2005, I wrote a spirit poem… a poem that taps into your spirit… and where you write your spirit into a poem. I can still recall that image of me as my spirit… a flowing spirit that flew next to the feet of galloping, wild horses racing across the western plains. It looked like Arizona… the red rocks in the distance. I wrote in my poem… My spirit runs with the energy of a thousand wild horses. I still get teary-eyed, choked up from that image as I connect to the truth of who I am, my ancestors and horse spirit that runs within me.

Write your own spirit poem.

1. Take some deep breaths and center your attention within your body.

2. Put your left hand on your heart, and speak… “My spirit is…”

3. Allow the feelings, words, visions, knowings to move through you… don’t try to capture it, allow it to flow through you.

4. Experience the feeling of your spirit… embrace all that you are!

5. Jot down what came to you. Collect any gifts that came in the process (totems, ideas, etc.)

I taught a workshop several years ago where I asked participants to ‘draw’ their spirit. A shy, quiet woman went busily to work on ‘her’ drawing. I could feel the clenched energy … the force … the tied up-ness of ‘trying’ to draw herself. I said a quick prayer… and released it to God to help. Soon … she was scribbling all over the page … colors in all shapes and sizes of squiggles. When she held it up to share, there was so much energy coming off of that page, we could ALL feel ‘her.’

My first experience with a horse was scary. Sitting on this remarkable creature, I felt ill-equipped to ‘control’ this massive beast underneath me. Sure enough, barely a few hundred yards down the road, the horse started side-stepping down into the ravine that was at least four or five feet below the gravel road. My friend Shelli, who grew up around horses stayed calm saying, “Just lead him up to the road again.” I was terrified of falling off, and it seemed that was all I could focus on. I just wanted OFF that horse. I ended up somehow directing him up to the road and then immediately got off so I could be ‘safe.’

Now… nearly 30 years later, I see that moment as a lesson in trust. Last week, on the show, we talked about finding the Truth within. Trust is a big part of finding the Truth. That horse knew I didn’t trust him, and he showed me as much.

In the September 2006 Cowboys & Indians magazine (am doing some collage art and was looking for some cool images in a stack of mags mom gave me), I read an article by Wolf Schneider called Saving the Mustangs. Did you know there are about 32,000 wild mustangs just in the southwest?

As I wondered about trust and how we can build trust within ourselves and also in God (yes, I wonder about such stuff while doing projects), I found this article about horses and how people ‘tame’ wild horses. Sharron Evans, the horse owner chronicled in the article says… “It’s speaking their language. No roping, no force. It’s all meant to be the horse’s choice while still establishing your dominance.” It struck me that our relationship with God can be like that. God shows us… guides us… and yet it is our choice what we choose.

Then Evans says in response to the question, ‘How much harder is it than training any other horse?’ “It starts off slower than with a domestic horse. But you take your time and learn your stuff, and once the horse trusts you, it goes faster than with a domestic horse. Because they’ve already given you their trust, now it’s just a matter of communication for them to know what it is you want.” This reminded me of trusting fully… the more fully we trust, the faster our connection with the Creator, and the easier things go. God supports us in what we are creating, and in the process we gain the opportunity to trust more and more.

I am! I am! Pick me! After so many years walking around in what can only be described as an ‘interesting’ experience, I am finally feeling ‘free’ again. I did some intense, amazing work with several key people, and I want to acknowledge them for their contribution to helping me along the way.

Jesus – You are always here, always holding me in your care. The rolling water I feel around you brings peace to my heart. I am doing my best to do what you asked… To care for your people. Thank you for so many lessons, so gently shared, and for your guiding hand in all that I do. Your teachings about healing…and the healings that have come through you…I am humbled to be of such service.

Mother Mary – The Mother Love that you hold, and teach those of us who hold this energy too, is such a gift. Your presence is beautiful, peaceful, holy. Thank you for holding space as people emerge to the Mother Love they are.

Kwan Yin – When you first came, I had no idea who you were. Your compassionate energy was like balm on my soul. Thank you for sharing your compassionate understanding and love for our world.

Archangel Ariel – Thank you for being my very first teacher, and for your patience and love and guiding hand in my life. I know it was you that warned me about Mark’s car… I just didn’t listen! I’m always reminded of the grace available to all of us when I am with you. Your energy encourages me to be light and free.

Archangel Michael – You must be one of the busiest beings in the Universe! Thank you for your protective energy, for your masterful way of freeing people (myself included) from the energetic cords that bind, and showing us how we create our own demons.

Roger – You were my very first guide! How much fun did we have, and thank you for showing me so much, and being so close to me in my expanding. I will never forget our first meeting – thank you for guiding me and helping me see so clearly.

Isla – Your radiance, your beauty transcended me to another time and place. I felt safe, protected with you as I explored the many planes of creation, and as so many teachers came to visit.

Edena – Beautiful African Princess…how mighty you are, and how I appreciate the courage you have brought to my life. You have helped me trust the process in so many ways… and yet I am always still learning.

Alliseah – You literally saved my life. Thank you for your teachings, for bringing me back to who I am, for showing me that I am what I am, and that what I am is loved. Ricah, Isoah…you are both so beautiful, and I know I am not the easiest to work with… I often wonder, “Why me?” At the same time, I trust in the process most of the time . Thank you for never giving up on me. Ricah…you have asked me to dream bigger and bigger… I love you. Isoah…your frequency is so healing, soothing. What a beautiful gift you are!

Lone Wolf – My brother, my protector, thank you for showing me that I never, ever again have to be afraid of what I might ‘feel’ around me. I know you are here, holding me in your care, and holding space as I work with clients, as I sleep, and as I learn. You have taught me so much about trust. You are a giant among giants.

Isis – When you first called to me, it scared the wits out of me. The strength of your energy was something I didn’t know what to do with, and yet it is that strength that I now call my own. You took me on a ride on your horse around the moon, the sun and the stars. I’ll never forget this invitation to remember where I come from.

The Three Flames – What you do to inspire and uplift! Thank you for the gifts you bring to all those who come for messages, alignment and healing. Irator, Gaylor and Jasmine – each of you have such amazing ways of sharing.

Iragor – The ancient of the ancients. You hold a special place in my heart. I love you so very much, and am grateful for your simplicity, your sense of humor, your compassionate playfulness. You are a gift to all who work with you, and I know how you touch people. We are all so grateful to know you.

Orzca – To me, you represent the healers of the healing realm. Thank you for teaching me about your world, your healing practices, and for showing me how these work in our world.

Healers – To all of you who come to work with us, to heal on all levels, thank you for all you do for us. You have a beauty and peace that is uniquely yours, and to all of you who have healed those with cancer, with blood disorders, birth defects, and so many other things, thank you.

There are so many more who have come for clients over the last few years…St. Germaine, St. Therese, St. Peter, St. George, Krishna, the Kingdoms – Light, Light and Dark, Crystal, the Planes – Plane of Creation, the councils of people who were so ill… ready to cross, the legion of angels who support all the requests and desires of all who ask, the Pleiadean Sisters, the Emissaries of Light, ancestors who have come to help their relatives heal, Archangels Metratron, Gabriel, Jophiel, Ariel, and the other archangels, the many guides who support and guide people.

A few days ago, I had an intuitive session with a client who was given the insight that she is an angel incarnate. The message shared so lovingly brought intense emotion. Many today believe that no angels walk our planet, and yet this message is not new as I’ve heard it for others.

If you are an earth angel, you might:

· Fail to see the ‘ego’ or ‘personality’ of others, instead only focusing on the good in the person

· Have issues with addictions or compulsive behaviors, perhaps carrying extra weight for protection

· Find it difficult to care for yourself first rather than the needs of others

· Feel homesick…longing to be with those like you

· Feel that you must help everyone – often feeling overwhelmed at the prospect

If you have a suspicion you are an incarnated angel, then remember to love yourself dearly, and to surround yourself with those who love you too and who can help you see what you can’t see. Your loving heart is so beautiful, yet even angels can ask for help!
