Last night’s Queen of Dreams Radio featured a juicy conversation with Kimberly Wilson, creator and founder of Tranquil Space Yoga Studio in Washington, DC, TranquiliT and the Tranquil Space Foundation. She is the author of Hip Tranquil Chick and also Tranquilista.

We talked about stars aligning, trusting the process, starting a business and writing books. Oh, and in the midst of all of that – how to have a rich, tranquil life, too!

In our conversation last night, Kimberly shared about her Tranquil Space Foundation, which brings yoga, creativity and leadership to teens in the 9th to 12th grades.

If you are in the DC area October 14, consider supporting this organization that has a vision to help teens find tranquility amongst the chaos. Even if you aren’t in the DC area, you can participate (starting THIS MONDAY – October 4th, 2010) via the Internet. Visit the Foundation to see how you can contribute to this worthwhile cause.

One of the highlights of our conversation involved bucket lists. Do you have one? Take a peek at Kimberly’s here.

bucket list

Today, the Queen of Joy, Velma Gallant, and I had a GREAT conversation about all things manifesting and empowerment. I’ve been on Velma’s Welcome Changes Radio show a couple of other times, and I truly love her honest, direct way of interviewing. This one-hour show is full of tips you can do now, for free, to shift quickly toward what you really want.

Looking for a Dream Life:

I had the most delicious conversation with a friend. We talked about things that make us laugh. I had tears streaming down my face as I shared about a comic I saw recently that cracked me up.

I love to laugh. It is one of the things that makes my entire body feel alive. Belly laughs bring a satisfaction that can’t quite be quenched in any other way. It is delightful to feel that energy running through me. And I enjoy the aching of my jaw when I have laughed for a little too long. Mark can make me laugh like that. That’s just one of the things I love most about him.

To celebrate that momentous conversation, I’m going to share some of my favorite laughs recently. Do I endorse all of the humor… no… but much of it is harmless. Enjoy!

Ghost Town

imageThis movie cracked me up. Besides the whole dead people thing and all of the situational humor, I just love Ricky Gervais’s stuffy, uptight British character. Mark and I went to watch this at the theatre and were doing the silent guffaws because we were laughing so hard. I’ve watched it three more times since that first time and it is still funny. Plus, it’s one of those rare movies where every loose end is tied up at the end in an immensely satisfying way.

Ricky Gervais – Out of England

imageI admit it. I love British humor. Black Adder, Fawlty Towers, Monty Python, Ab Fab – it all cracks me up. I don’t know if it is the dryness or the wittiness that I appreciate so much. Ricky’s humor cracks me up because he can really make you see what he’s saying. If you have a visual mind, you will be in stitches. I believe this is running on HBO right now.

Dan In Real Lifeimage

Steve Carroll plays a widower of three girls in this hilarious movie that shows the inner dynamics of a typical family. As a writer, I really appreciate the intricate story lines at play in this movie. It is sweet, touching and amazingly funny. If you have any dysfunction at all in your family, you’ll be right at home in Dan’s life.

Brad Paisley

I have to say that I believe Mr. Brad Paisley is one of the most talented lyricists in the history of music. I love his upbeat, happy-go-lucky tunes. They make me laugh, and keep me in an upbeat mode. His guitar playing is only improved when he unites with Keith Urban. Whoa. What could be better?

Okay, okay, okay, I know I keep mentioning this ‘new’ manifesting program we are putting together. I really keep mentioning it ONLY because I’m SO excited about it, and ONLY because I’ve been seeing how GREAT it is working for clients. *REALLY GREAT*

Yeeeee, I feel so excited about this program!

Yesterday, I sent our new logo in for a Mom’s night out event that Kathy Garland and I are doing THIS Thursday (yes, that’s right, I won’t be with you LIVE on the show next week, but will be with you in spirit). Matthew McConaughey (fellow Texan) and 300 of our best mommie girlfriends beckon. No, Matt won’t be joining us LIVE, but he will be there in spirit… in his new flick, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, which we will be watching together. And – yes, our FIRST public display of our new baby. We keep playing with this program, and the more we play, the more she grows!

We plan to have a mini-seminar very soon and an online version soon after that. Stay tuned for more details, but for now, come celebrate with us, and take a look at our newest addition!
